That removes the obstacle we spend most of our time on in older parts of the county.
What we find instead is a phone system that was sold over the phone by a national provider, shipped in a box, and configured by whoever in the office was least able to refuse. It technically works. The auto-attendant reads options nobody chose, calls route to a person who left last year, and the admin portal is opaque enough that nobody dares change it. The hardware is fine; the configuration was never done properly.
That is a much faster fix than a rewire. Often we are not replacing anything physical at all, just rebuilding the call flow around how the practice actually operates, cleaning up extensions and voicemail, and showing whoever runs the office how to make changes without opening a support ticket in another state.
