The Problem
A vascular medical practice was building out a new facility and needed a single contractor who could handle both clinical AV and full network infrastructure. They needed displays inside an active operating room installed without exposed hardware or wire runs, plus a HIPAA-compliant network with proper VLAN segmentation separating clinical systems, staff devices, and patient access.
What We Did
- Mounted displays inside the operating room using precision flush mounts with fully concealed cabling, positioned for optimal surgical staff viewing angles.
- Ran structured cabling throughout the facility and terminated a clean, fully labeled patch panel.
- Deployed managed switches and UniFi access points for full-facility Wi-Fi coverage.
- Configured VLAN segmentation to properly isolate clinical systems, staff devices, and patient Wi-Fi.
The Result
The practice opened with a clean, healthcare-grade technology environment across the entire facility. One contractor handled every scope, eliminating vendor finger-pointing and ensuring the AV and IT systems were designed to work together from day one.
